The multi-layer SORIWA Multi Profiles are made from a fibre material based on recycled cellulose. With a lower carbon footprint compared to conventional steel profiles, as verified as verified by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). As a result, the Multi Profiles can make a valuable contribution to common building certifications, such as DGNB and QNG certifications.

Yes, the SORIWA Multi Profile is a product approved by the building authorities. It has a general building approval (abZ) and bears the Ü mark. This means it may generally be installed in Germany without restriction.
Certified documentation is available for the relevant application (e.g., wall constructions) regarding sound insulation, fire performance, emissions, and mechanical load-bearing capacity. The profile can therefore also be used in projects with special requirements.
According to the EPD, SORIWA Multi Profile panels sequester more CO₂ than is emitted during their production. As a result, they sequester carbon dioxide within the building.
